In Szekszard (South-West Hungary) many interessting things are happening. Numerous emerging cellars came to the scene, one of them the Daniel Cellar. We tested its wine in the framework of our "Rent-a-Tongue Programm".

The 2009 Zweigelt is a light red wine with raspberry scent. Fresh fruit character, sparkling wine associations.

The 2006 Chef cuvée has a sweetish, tropical fruit scent, which is followed by liqueur-like taste, forest fruits and nuts.

The 2006 Grand Crew has a typical Szekszard (very spicy) scent. Round, european taste, canned cherry.

The best wine for today was the 2007 Vamp cuveé. A natural stimulant, full-bodied and spicy. Sweetish masculanity, a latin lover.

Maybe the 2008 Avant cuvée has the best price/value ratio. Light purple, sweetish-clove in the nose. Extract sweetness and forest fruits.

The 2006 Merlot is one of its genre. Spicy, serious scent. Roasted nuts in its taste, chocolate bath. A long, swetish-bitter concept.
