Szekszárd Kékfrankos
Date: January 12, 2010
Urban legends say the variety kekfrankos was born in North-west Hungary, in Sopron. We found, the hills of Southern Pannonia shows its potential on the best way.

Our first piece, K2 came from the emerging Szeleshat Cellar. Its a late hervest (!), but dry red wine, hm. White ring, bizarr scent: garlic, then red currant and honey appendixes. Light wine with alcohol, mint and grape skin. After eight chocolate. Decante it for some hours!

The 2006 Tűzkő 7frankos has dried fruit, spice and walnut scent. Round and young taste, like a bicycle. Store it for some years!.

At last but least 2007 Mészáros Pál kékfrankosa came into our face. Dried berry and tobacco in the nose. Sophisticated but Central-European (if this 'but' is valid) character, a good standard.
