The Somlo wines are not easy wines. Not easy to consume and not easy to distinguish from Badacsony wines. E.g in the Travel Channel's short film ("Hungary for wines" 3. part http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2QgsRt8qW0) the "Somló vs. Badacsony" test with local wine makers was not convinging: the winemakers themselves had problems to identify their own wine regions. That's what winetest.eu also can deliver :)

As a start, Csordás-Fodor Juhfark 2007 has very nice apple scent. Salty-mineral character, acid-focus.

Mr. Istvan Spiegelberg started his winemaker carrier after his military (pilot) one. However, his 2008 Juhfark is a feminine essence, full-bodied hams.

Csordás-Fodor Juhfark Selection 2006 is a creamy, tensely structured, mature Alpha Male drink. The battle shout of the phalanx. Excellent!
