Pinot Noir test
Date: April 9, 2010
Our today work focus the CEE version of the Burgundy borned grape

Our first item was Gál Tibor 2003 pinot, a translucent and a bit brownish face, oh temporas, oh mores. Tobacco in the nose, a bit sweetish. Suprisingly full-bodied, herbal taste and cinammon. Minimalist and straight, like a retired general.

The Pannonhalma Abbey 2006 pinot noir has oily rubint status. Strawberry and red currant in the nose. Mature character, nut and orange skin. For enjoyment of contemporary arts.

Last but not least the Esterházy 2008 pinot from Burgenland, Austria. Oak and vanilla scent. A bit young taste, citrus conclusions. Pervert and dubious.
