Greek white wines
Date: January 7, 2011
The Greek wines, especially the Samos wines were the top wines of ancient times. This test points out the passing time and glory.

The Horpes Muscat from the island of Samos shows strong muscat character with some orange. Short, but full-bodied pine apple and eucalyptus taste.

The Boutari Cellar's Moschofilero arrived from Mantinia. Shy canned fruit scent and mineral taste, a bit watery.

Finally, we tasted SantoWines' Assyrtiko from the exploited volcano island, Santorini. Picant vegtable in the nose, oily. Full-bodied southern taste, a polite latin (?) lover. Between 65 and 79 points.
